So I was wondering why did Ronno hate Bambi so much? Was it because he wanted to just be a bully, was it because they both liked Faline, was it because he was jealous of Bambi, or was it all 3?

I'm not entirely sure. I've never seen the second film, so there may be a few contributing factors displayed in that, although since I always thought that the second film sounded more like a spin-off than a sequel, I think that I could provide a fairly solid theory as to why: Since it is in an animal's nature to fight to defend, Ronno (who was always known to me as the "rogue deer" before my awareness of the second film), when he attacked Bambi in the first film, may have felt that either he was defending what he felt should be his mate, or he was being chivalric (or a bit of both). This theory may be flawed, considering that none of the other animals in the film were killing each other, but it's the most plauable explanation that I could think of.
Another theory is that as the animals are heavily anthropomorphisised, he may just be being nasty, as people are (although I don't think that this is a uniquely human trait).

I'd agree with what Sam is saying, though I also believe that Ronno is meant to serve as an obstacle for Bambi to face besides Man. He is meant to be portrayed as a childhood bully that kids have experienced in school and can relate to.
I feel that Ronno just simply wants to be among the very best because he has insecurities about himself and, knowing that Bambi appears weak in his eyes and unwilling to quickly react into fighting, wants to put Bambi down and say he's at the top of the herd, not letting Bambi take that spotlight in order to feel happy in life (which could explain Ronno's yearning for Faline and wanting her for himself).
