Do you think rational thought or human emotions are more important.

I think that it's important to think rationally, or at least try when it's difficult. For the most part, if it's been given proper thought, it's right. I tend to notice that if people do things that are driven by their emotions, that's the wrong thing, and they'll likely see tht afterwords. I can sympathise with people that allow their emotions to take control, as it isn't always easy to think rationally, but I still think that it's important to try.
I think that people's emotions do have to be taken into consideration when dealing with them, as we don't want to cause any major upset, for two reasons: -We wouldn't want to inconvenience other people with what may occur -We wouldn't want to hurt the upset person
Now, sometimes, I think that thinking under the influence of your emotions is a help - I don't know about you, but when I'm very happy, and feeling incredibly cheerful and optimistic, I tend to find more confidence to do or ask things that I usually wouldn't, which, most of the time is good, but occasionally is bad.

For me, it depends on the situation I'd encounter. I mostly use logic to see if I clearly understand what is going on and gain a perspective of the situation as a whole, then I use my emotions to personally reflect on what to do about the situation and what outcomes may turn out in the end. As you can see, it usually takes both logic and emotion to get something accomplished.
