Here are the rules to RPing (roleplaying):
1. You can ONLY play your character (meaning you control your player's actions, words, and reactions to events) 2. Please be active. It's more fun when ALL characters contribute to the story. 3. Have fun. ;D

Hmmm. I'm not sure, but not too many characters. I think the rule is up to two, but I guess one can have several, just as long as the roleplay doesn't get too confusing for everyone on who is roleplaying who and which character says what.

You mean how to start your own roleplay thread? Well, first, you need an idea for a plot in the RP that can continue for a long while. Then you need to figure out which characters are necessary to appear in it. You can have as many characters as you want, but don't try to have there be too many characters; otherwise, the RP may get confusing as to who says what to whom and what each character does when interacting with each other. It all may seem a bit confusing now, but once you get the hang of roleplaying, it's loads of fun.
