I think maybe because we were all exposed to it as kids and we instantly love it. For me, I went throught different phases in loving Bambi. I liked it a lot since I first saw it when I was 3, stopped liking it at eight years old (thought it was too childish to like it at the time), then liking it again at 15, stopped liking it at 16, and then liking it even more when it came out on DVD in 2005 and when Bambi 2 came out on DVD this year. Why do I like Bambi in general? Well, I guess because this is the one Disney movie that stands out to me more than any other. I mean, many of them are good, like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and The Lion King, but with Bambi, it has this special power that makes it so meaningful, because it's a masterpiece.

im not good with lond writting like you Aw, don't worry, Jenny. Someday you'll get good at it. Someday. Anyway, are there reasons that Bambi (the movie as a whole) has a special place in your heart? Well, I'd like to say that I like the movie because I enjoy the realistic depictions of both the forest and the animal locomotion (especially the deer), and I enjoy how it delves deep in emotion for the story (I mean, with the way you can really understand death, love, fear, jealousy, life, etc.).

I also like "Bambi" because it seems very realistic; the animals in it act like real animals, and when it comes to death, there's no fairy to wave a wand to revive someone or a magic spell to bring someone back to life. It's also very lyrical and seems to give a poetic view on nature. It seems as though it's Walt Disney's most realistic movie out of all the animated movies he had made.

I think I like Bambi cause I can totally relate to losing a loved one. My dad passed away when I was 6 years old. So I know what Bambi went through. So everytime I see that little fawn I just wanna give him a big hug.

Aww, I'm sorry to read about the loss of your dad, bambifan. I'm sure it must have been hard to deal with at first, just like Bambi did with the loss of his mother.

I've always loved Bambi, but the 2nd movie really did me in. It was perfect, I've always wanted to see how the bond between Bambi and his father would be like now that his mother was gone. There was good emotion in the story and really expresses feelings of Parent-Child relationships.
