Especailly in animated animal movies childhood friends always become adult lovers? I mean see Bambi, the Lion King, the Lion King 2, etc.

I think that it's the idea of them knowing each other since their early life. I'm not entirely sure why many people find that idea appealing, although I get the jist. It's just another way of making that particular world feel warmer and friendlier.

I agree with Sam on this. I also think that because such films from Disney are aimed to be family-oriented, the idea of having child animal characters grow up into adults would give the young viewers at home (or in the movie theatre) an idea of what type of settings, dialogue and situations they may personally face when they grow up into adulthood. I mean, love is a natural thing for every living being to experience, and much of the animal characters in Disney films such as Bambi and TLK are sort of like "role-models" to the viewers based on their mannerisms and behavior when experiencing love, especially if it's their first time openly expressing it.
