Bambi pricked his ears up to hear where the strange noise could be coming from. He listened intently, trying to figure out what the noise really was. After paying attention to it closely, he realized something. "I think it sounds like someone's in trouble," he said to his friends. "We should go rescue him or her."

Prince saw Bambi and ran to him and said worried, "Bambi, go now! Run to the thicket, A deer is cought in a trap! Hunters are coming, i must go, Go now!" He ran to the sound

Bambi noticed the Great Prince run over to him and instruct him on what to do next. "But Dad, maybe me and my friends could help," Bambi said. "I know you may think that it sounds unsafe, but that deer may need more than just your help."

Bambi didn't know what to take of that "Go!" statement his father gave, but then he assumed that it perhaps meant that he had to do what his father said about running to the thicket and hide there until it was safe to come back out. "Um...OK, dad..." he said, and he started to head toward the thicket. However, something inside him told him that the trapped deer probably would need help from more than just one creature. He knew in his heart that he could show his father how brave he could be in helping someone in need. It was then that he decided that as soon as the Great Prince was way ahead to run toward the trapped deer, Bambi would follow far behind so that his father wouldn't know that he would come to help out.

Great Prince saw Hawk and yelled, "Man1 We must go!" Hawk followed Prince. They were going to fast to catch. They got to the deer in need. To find... The deer had already bean shot dead. Prince saw Ronno, cowering in the corner. You see Hawk was Ronnos brother. "Man...Killed...Mother..." Ronno stutered. Hawk hung his head down. Ronno went to Hawk, and sorowfully nuzzled him. Hawk had a tear in his eye. The handsome young buck never cried. But this was tragic. Prince bowed to the two, and walked out of the thicket. He walked to the other stages. They all looked up at him. The Princes elegant muscles and fur glistened. He looked at Bambi and said "It was Ronno, and Hawk's mother...She was shot, and left there for beaing a doe." He held his head high.

Bambi approached the scene from a distance so that the Great Prince couldn't see him. When he saw what had happened to the doe, he was taken aback to seeing her lying dead on the ground. It sort of made him think of what might have happened to his mother when she got shot by Man from his first winter. Oh, what painful memories it brought him.
He looked up at the Great Prince when the Prince spoke to him, explaining about who the doe was. He soon felt sorry for Ronno, even though he and Ronno were both enemies of each other. The death of Ronno's mother would probably help Ronno understand better about Bambi's mother's death. He decided to give Ronno some comfort by slowly walking up to his rival and saying, "Ronno, I...I'm so sorry to find out what had happened."

Ronno flattened his ears, "Well, im over it." He said trying to act like a stage. He walked out. Hawk said, "Thanks bud." while walking with him. Meanwhile Great Prince ran through the meadown with they other stages. It was the anual "Stage Runn"

Bambi still felt sorry for Ronno, and as he watched his rival walk off, something inside him made him wish that there was some way that he could help Ronno feel better somehow. He knew that Ronno couldn't feel depressed over his mother's death forever, and he could sense that Ronno probably wasn't being real truthful about saying that he was over it. He had to think of something to help him, but he couldn't think of what he could do to help out as of yet. In time, an idea would pop into his head, but for now, his mind drew a blank.
He then watched his father and the other stags run off to do the stag run. Something inside made him feel awkward about everyone leaving the doe to rot on the spot, but it did make him feel a bit uncomfortable looking at her stiff body (since it slightly reminded him of his own mother's death from last winter), so he walked away not looking at it. Is leaving her like this the right thing to do? he pondered to himself. Certainly, there wasn't a way that he could revive her, but having her lie still didn't seem quite right. He continued walking away from the scene to watch the Great Prince and the stags do their Stag Run.

Ronno looked over at Feline and smiled deviosly. He watched Bambi. And how he was close to his mother. Ronno put his tail down. his ears down, snorted, and rammed Bambi. "Stay away from her!" He yelled pushing his away. Ronno ran back to the thicket and laid with his mother.
Another day past and Ronno was still in with his mother. He felt bad for all the times he yelled at her. Hawk walked into the thicket and annonced, "I found another thicket, Ronno. We must move at once!" Ronno still lay there and wept.

Bambi reacted in surprise to being knocked down by Ronno. He didn't do anything wrong as far as he knew, so he asked Ronno, "Hey, what was that for? I didn't do anything." He sighed, stood up, regained his composure, glared at Ronno with bitterness in his thoughts, and then walked off.
The next day, he had thought up of an initial plan to see the doe another time. On his way over, he came by Hawk and Ronno's thicket and heard Ronno crying. Bambi had never heard Ronno cry before, so this was something new and different about his rival, something he had never expected to see come out of a fawn that had constantly been giving him a hard time. He peeked into the thicket a little bit and asked Ronno, "Ronno? A-are you OK?"

Ronno got up and flattened his ears and tail down once more, "Leave me alone!" Hawk nudged Ronno. Ronno kicked Hawks side and sliced his leg. Hawk colapsed. He got up. Not much blood but still. Ronno rammed Bambi. Ronno took off down the hill, to were Bambi made his first jump. He was in to much anger to relize he made the jump. He sat at the other side.

Bambi became surprised to be hit on the side by Ronno and fall to the ground. He sat himself up and shook his head to clear it and then asked, "Hey, what was that for? All I did was ask you how you were feeling, and you just ram into me!"
